HOW IT WORKS
Solar Photovoltaic (PV) renewable energy uses energy from the sun to generate electricity. These systems utilise solar panels made up of photovoltaic cells. When sunlight hits them, they create an electrical current which is then converted from DC to AC electricity (the standard used in homes and businesses, through inverters).
WHAT IT INVOLVES
We mount the solar panels on rooftops, ground mounts, or wherever is best to maximise exposure to sunlight throughout the day. The angle and orientation of the panels are designed to optimise energy production.
Monitoring and control systems will be integrated into your solar PV system, allowing real-time tracking of energy production and system performance. This gives you the ability to efficiently manage the system and quickly identify any issues that may arise.
THE BENEFITS
Solar PV systems can be connected to the electrical grid, allowing excess electricity generated during sunny periods to be fed back. This process, known as ‘net metering’, enables the customer to earn energy credits or payments for the electricity they contribute to the grid.
