HOW IT WORKS
Off Grid systems typically rely on renewable energy sources such as solar panels or wind turbines to generate electricity. The electricity they generate is stored in a battery, sort of like a big energy reservoir, for times when renewable energy production is low, such as during the night or when it’s very cloudy. A charge controller regulates the flow of electricity from the renewable energy source to the batteries, ensuring efficient charging and preventing overcharging, which can reduce battery lifespan. An inverter converts the stored direct current (DC) electricity into alternating current (AC) electricity, which is used to power household appliances and devices.
WHAT IT INVOLVES
A typical battery install begins with a full site assessment, followed by system design based on your energy requirements. Installation involves mounting the batteries, making electrical connections, and integrating monitoring and control systems. Rigorous testing and commissioning ensure the system meets performance standards and safety requirements.
